I wish that the word "peek" was not mis-spelled on page 2. This is a disappointing error on an app targeted towards children who are learning to read. Also, in my mind, referring to death as "land of no return" is much scarier than just saying that Eleanor died. A positive for this app is the beautiful graphics.
Really HATE that the first page of this app tries to pull you away to buy more apps from this company in the app store or links you to Facebook and twitter! There seems to be no option to turn this off. So, before my son can even enjoy this expensive app, he winds up where he shouldnt be. I should at least have the option of turning off the app store, twitter and Facebook. Very lame.
I love this story book - its illustrations are compelling and beautiful. The story is also a lovely story - although truncated due to it being a childrens ebook. This company does a great job of building in pedagogical features to make learning and reading fun. My 5 year old absolutely loved this book and wanted more and more and more! Highly recommend.
